How it works
Type a brand concept, niche, verb, or any word that captures what you're building. Single words, categories, invented terms — the generator works from anything. Try "launch", "nest", "forge", or "bloom".
Your keyword is combined with hundreds of proven prefixes (get-, try-, go-, use-), suffixes (-hub, -ly, -co, -hq), and compound patterns. Every combination is structured to produce a registerable .com — no noise, no filler.
Every generated name is checked live via a registrar API — the same data source your registrar uses at point of purchase. Taken domains, parked domains, and undelegated domains are all filtered out silently. What you see is a clean list of .com names available to register right now.
Why SharpDomainSearch
Every other tool generates names and leaves you to discover which ones are taken — one click at a time. SharpDomainSearch filters first. You only ever see names you can actually register.
Naming tips
Six rules that separate a forgettable domain from one worth building a company around.
Every character adds friction. The most successful brand domains — Notion, Figma, Stripe, Slack — are all under 8. Aim for 8–12 characters maximum. Shorter is always better.
Say the domain out loud. If someone hears it once and can't spell it — or confuses it with another word — it'll cost you traffic and mindshare for years. Simple phonetics win.
Hyphens confuse spoken communication ("is that a hyphen or not?"). Numbers have the same problem: is it "5" or "five"? Both signal low quality and kill direct type-in traffic.
"health.com" is gone. But "healthhub.com", "gethealthly.com", "wellnest.com" — some of these exist. Add differentiation: a prefix, a suffix, or a portmanteau that makes the name distinct.
Trend-chasing names age poorly. A name built around "blockchain" or "metaverse" already feels dated. Choose a name that could belong to a brand in any era — timeless always outperforms trendy.
Available domains can disappear within hours — especially after a product launch, tweet, or trend spike. When you find an available .com name you like, register it now. Indecision is expensive.
Naming patterns
SharpDomainSearch generates names across all six patterns from your keyword — so you see every type of option available.
get-, go-, try-, use-, my-, be-
Action-first names with high energy. getlaunch.com, gobolt.com, trynova.com.
-hub, -ly, -co, -hq, -base, -app
Clean modern endings that signal product or platform. flowly.com, taskhub.com, vaulthq.com.
word + word
Two short words joined into one strong name. Dropbox, Mailchimp, Basecamp-style. Easiest to remember.
blended words
Two words merged mid-syllable. Pinterest (pin + interest), Snapchat (snap + chat). Creative but harder to invent.
coined brand word
No real-word meaning. Strongest brand protection. Kodak, Xerox, Zappos, Wix-style. Best for long-term brand equity.
spelling variant
Real word with a slight change. Fiverr, Tumblr, Flickr. Easy to say, unique enough to own as a trademark.
